Digestive Diseases

The gastroenterology department of Medical Consultants is committed to offering comprehensive care for digestive and liver diseases. We offer expert diagnostic and procedural skills in the evaluation and treatment of conditions affecting the esophagus, stomach, intestinal tract, colon, rectum, liver, gallbladder and pancreas.

We currently have five board-certified gastroenterologists, as well a certified nurse practitioner, on staff in facility at 800 S. Tillotson Ave.

Endoscopy Center

To complement our office setting, our gastroenterologists also peform endoscopy procedures in our state-of-the-art ambulatory surgery center, also located in our Tillotson location. Our Endoscopy Center is an ambulatory care center and is designed specifically to perform out-patient endoscopy and colonoscopy.  The term endoscopy refers to direct visualization of the digestive tract with a video camera. This allows the physician to see the area being studied such as the esophagus, stomach, small intestine, rectum or colon. Several types of endoscopic procedures are performed in the center.
