Oncology/Hematology Medical Consultants partners with Ball Memorial Hospital and Indiana Radiotherapy to form the Cancer Center at BMH. Our medical staff consists of fellowship trained, board certified hematologists and oncologists along with three Nurse Practitioners that are certified in both Oncology and Family Practice Care.

Medical Oncology
Medical oncology is the specialty of internal medicine that deals with the diagnosis and treatment of cancer. The medical oncologist has knowledge of all aspects of cancer treatment, including chemotherapy, surgery, and radiation therapy. They are experts in the treatment and management of side effects related to cancer treatment.
Hematology Services
The Hematology services at Medical Consultants provides comprehensive treatment for individuals with both cancerous and non-cancerous disorders of the blood. We provide expert treatment for patients with cancerous blood diseases including leukemia; lymphoma; multiple myeloma; and myeloproliferative and myelodysplastic disorders.
We also offer treatment and diagnostic counsel to patients with non-cancerous blood diseases, including low blood counts (low red blood cell count or anemia, low white blood cell count or leukopenia, low platelet count or thrombocytopenia); sickle cell diseases; transfusion related problems; certain metabolic disorders, including Gaucher disease; and disorders of thrombosis (blood clotting).
