New Patient FAQs
1. Why did my primary care physician
choose a Medical Consultants specialist? Your doctor chose the
physicians at Medical Consultants because we provide high quality care for
complicated medical problems and your physician felt it was important you see a
physician who specializes in various types of internal medicine treatments. We
have been providing care to patients of East Central Indiana since 1968 and all
of our physicians are board-certified.
2. I've been referred to your practice,
now what do I do? After your appointment is scheduled, you will
receive a welcome packet in the mail that will contain a welcome letter that
outlines everything you need to do to prepare for your appointment. In addition,
it will contain a few forms you should complete before you come to your
appointment as this will help expedite your time in our offices.
3. How do I contact your
offices? The main switchboard number at Medical Consultants is
765-281-2000. Other contact numbers can be found by clicking

insurance? We accept most major insurance plans. If you have any
questions, please contact our billing department at 765-281-2006.
5. What do I need to bring to my
appointment? Please make sure you bring your current medication
bottles or labels, all insurance cards, and make sure you arrive at least 20
minutes before your appointment to fill out the rest of your necessary
paperwork.
6. How do I find out where I am
going? Medical Consultants has convenient locations throughout
East Central Indiana, including Muncie, Marion, Anderson and New Castle.
However, not all of our specialties are practiced in each facilty, so please

Specialties area for a list of corresponding locations. Check our Locations

7. Do I have to pay anything when I
come to your office? Our financial policy requires that all
co-pays, deductibles and non-covered services be collected at the time of
service. If you have any insurance or billing questions prior to your
